Vogogna in Ossola (Novara) ca. 1850 - 1920
At the Albertine Arts Academy in Turin he studied figure and portrait, then, under the guidance of the Scottish painter Arthom, he devoted himself to the landscape. After settling in Turin, he exhibited at the Circolo degli Artisti and with the "Amici dell'Arte". He took part in national exhibitions with portraits (Portrait, exhibited in Turin in 1898; My wife and my children, exhibited in Milan in 1906), genre scenes (New echo in the soul and In the minor, exhibited in Turin in 1898) and landscapes (Casolari nell'Ossola, presented in Rome in 1906).
