Rare set of seven(7) hanging lamps , pendants , in twisted pine wood (larch wood) by Swedish designer Hans- Jakobsson (1919-2009) and edited by AB Ellysett Markaryd between 1959 and 1969. In good condition for age. Made of many layers of bentwood turned into a “swirl”. These lampes have a delicate construction that it’s almost impossible to find any intact examples. When illuminated the thin wood casts a distinctly orange filtered light that reveals the wood’s natural grain and casts a warm and beautiful glow. Belgian multimédia artiste Marc Lampens uses two pine trunks for his works of art, which he transforms into a creative work of art. Marc Lampens takes classes in plastic arts at the art academy in Oudenaarde, and learned to work with all available materials with which an artist can get creative, such as stone, metal , bronze and wood. He currently focuses mainly on the creation of jewelery in the noblest of all metals: gold.

Rare kinetic lamp designed by the French designer Werner Epstein for Inter Neo. The lamp was exhibited at the "Salon des Artistes et Décorateurs" in 1972, which took place at the Grand Palais of the Champs Elysées in Paris in 1972.

This beautiful lamp has a very pleasant effect in the room thanks to the aluminum spirals that rotate slowly with the heat of the lamp.

One of the lamps is signed under the barrel and dated 1970.

Height 115cm.

Two important sculptures « couple » sculpted by Begga D’Haese (1934 – 2023). Younger sister of Reinhoud D'Haese who was part of the nursery of the Cobra group in the 1950s and Roel D'Haese who is considered the greatest Flemish surrealist sculptor,

Begga had to make a name for himself. From 1969 she start working on monumental sculptures, from which @igmarstuer and @pschantiques offer today two original and unique examples.

The two sculptures are signed on the bottom. Carved in Afselia wood and resting on a base in blue stone.

Around 1980. Sold as a pair.

Made by the Greek sculptor Polyclète , this sculpture is one of the sculptures that follow the canon established by Polyclète for the ideal proportion of the male human figure, according to which the total height of the statue is one to seven times the height of his head.
