A fabulous quality 19th Century walnut and marquetry two door cabinet,  having a wonderful figured top above a frieze with ormolu moulding and decorated with floral marquetry, two hinged panel doors below opening to reveal a red velvet lined interior with two shelves, each panel having wonderful figuration and highly decorative marquetry inlay with an urn at the centre of each panel with floral marquetry, panels also having ormolu beading running along the edges, columns either side of the cabinet decorated with lovely quality ormolu mounts and further floral inlaid marquetry, supported on a shaped plinth with further ormolu moulding.  This cabinet is of exceptional quality and is in fantastic condition, having a lovely warm brown walnut colour.  Circa 1860. 48 1/2" x 14" x 41" high 123cms x 36cms x 104cms high

A unique and impressive 19th Century British mahogany military chest, the top lifts up to reveal a dressing station supported on brass rods, consisting of a mirror at the centre with shelves either side, the chest having a combination of two short over four long drawers with the original brass recessed handles, the central drawer pulls out to reveal a lift up writing slope with various compartments, slides either side of the writing slope that open to reveal further compartment space and a pen tray, supported on elegant turned feet.  Circa 1840.

A large and impressive 19th Century walnut partners desk of exceptional quality, having a wonderful figured top that is sectioned with crossbanding and herringbone inlay and having a moulded edge, a truly wonderful looking top that has a warm rich colour, having five oak lined drawers either side, all with the original brass plate handles and escutcheons, decorative shaped apron on all sides of the desk, supported on fabulous  carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet.  Circa 1890.

A superb quality 19th Century black forest caved wood casket, having wonderful crisp carving throughout, the hinged top lifting up to reveal a large compartment space, has the original key and lock, the top itself has a multi moulded edge with floral carving and an oval plaque at the centre with an ornate carved scene of a fox on a rock formation looking down on a couple of birds, the front of the box there is a shaped panel depicting a hunting scene incorporating a fox and hound and various foliage, the back of the box has the same shaped panel but with floral carving and a rifle, with the sides of the box having a carved head of a fox one side and the other side a carved head of a hound, supported on carved scroll and floral feet.  Lovely intricate carving and on great condition.  Circa 1870.

A superb quality 19th Century black forest carved walnut cuckoo clock with a 30 hour movement, the clock portraying a hunting scene consisting of a dears head at the top with antlers with various foliage either side, a couple of rifles hanging on the dears head, the clock face itself surrounded by a hunting horn and hanging either side are a bird and a hare, profusely carved all over, lovely crisp carving and in very good condition.  Circa 1880.

A wonderful and unique 19th Century black forest carving of an elderly man sitting on a tree trunk holding a newspaper, the front of the tree trunk encased behind a circular glass window is the edelweiss plant, which comes from the slopes of the Swiss mountainside.  The newspaper that the elderly man is holding unravels to reveal an article titled "out of doors" by john Armitage detailing the search for the edelweiss star plant.  Circa 1880.
